Information on Rowan Chemical Engineering

Rowan University offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Chemical Engineering that focus on developing strong foundations in science and design while emphasizing effective communication and teaming skills, and professional responsibility. Throughout the curriculum, students are exposed to chemical engineering methods using hands-on, state-of-the-art experiments, modern computer tools, and problem synthesis and solution approaches. The Chemical Engineering Program is committed to technical excellence, professional responsibility, and lifelong learning.

Students of all levels have the opportunity for hands-on projects and research built into the curriculum. Outside of the classroom, the Chemical Engineering students are able to work with faculty on long-term projects as early as freshman year. In the past, projects have been sponsored by institutions such as ARL, DuPont, EPA, Inolex, Johnson Matthey, Nestle, NIH, NSF, and Perma Pure. Research groups link.
